The last days of summer in the Outer Banks of North Carolina

As the final days of summer linger in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, there is an undeniable magic in the air. And, oh the light, it takes on a quality that is nothing short of breath taking. One of the most enchanting aspects of late summer in the Outer Banks is the light. With the sun lower in the late summer sky, it casts a warmth of light bathing my subjects in its glow. Most of my images are shoot in Duck, NC, where families flock to the beautiful beaches for some family fun.
